Our Solution

Introducing the..

ELECTRIC REEF SYSTEM (ERS)

The ERS utilises the concept of electrolysis to accrete calcium carbonate, an essential mineral for coral development. By creating a calcium-rich environment, we minimise the stress on the corals, helping them better withstand environmental threats such as rising sea temperatures and pollution.

The ERS uses the concept of electrolysis in the ocean to deposit calcium carbonate on our custom-made electric reef structures.  Our structures varies in design depending on customer requests and the site location of the ERS. The podiums are specifically designed to facilitate easy transportation and assembly. â€‹

In line with our mission of creating sustainable solutions, we use green energy sources, such as solar panels, to power the ERS. This also enables remote deployment, away from any land-based power source, which reduces additional maintenance needs.

OPPORTUNITIES

With a healthy reef, not only are you supporting and sustaining the marine environment, it also opens up opportunities for you.

OUR SERVICES

At Seaforms, we are committed to supporting coral restoration and raising awareness about the challenges facing our oceans.

Our ERS are tailored for each project, offering eco-friendly and low-maintenance solutions. Whether it's for resorts or private island owners, our technology promotes faster coral recovery and supports commercial benefits for businesses relying on the ocean for tourism.

ERS PACKAGE BREAKDOWN

Kickstart our package with a consultation!

SERVICE

Phase 1 - Consultation

In this initial phase, we engage with stakeholders to lay the groundwork for a successful collaboration. It begins with a pre-trip discussion, where we introduce our ERS and discuss the specific goals and challenges of the client’s site as well as their vision for reef restoration, and the desired outcomes. This stage also involves setting clear expectations regarding timelines, deliverables, and the overall scope of the project, ensuring transparency from the outset.

Phase 2 - Site Reconnaissance

The next phase involves a physical site visit by our team to conduct detailed site studies. During this visit, we assess the current coral health, identify potential deployment locations, and take into account environmental factors. This step is crucial in evaluating the feasibility of deploying the ERS and ensures that the structure will be optimally placed to promote coral growth.

Phase 3 - Design and Planning

Post-trip, we regroup for another consultation session to discuss findings from the reconnaissance phase and refine the deployment plan based on the unique characteristics of the site and any further client input. This involves customising the ERS design to fit the specific conditions of the coral ecosystem.

Phase 4 - Deployment

Once planning is finalised, we move to the deployment phase. Our team conducts a second site visit to install the ERS in the predetermined locations, ensuring the structures are secured and positioned correctly for their long-term stability and effectiveness.

Phase 5 - Maintainence

Post-deployment, ongoing maintenance is essential to ensure the long-term success of the project. Our team schedules regular visits to the site to monitor coral health and the system's performance. We also regularly record data on coral growth, which allows us to track progress and make any necessary adjustments to optimise results.

Phase 6 - Engage and Educate

An integral part of our mission is community involvement and education. During this phase, we engage with the local community by conducting outreach programmes and workshops. These initiatives are aimed at educating local divers and stakeholders about the importance of coral conservation and the role they can contribute to the preservation of marine ecosystems. This phase enhances the project's impact by fostering a deeper connection between the community and their natural environment.
